The Vail Yeti, the town's semi-professional hockey team, play 21 home games at the renovated Dobson Arena in Lionshead this winter, from Friday, December 4, 2026 to Saturday, March 27, 2027. Most games come in Friday-Saturday pairs against the same opponent, with puck drop at 8:05 pm.

It is the team's first season back in Dobson after the arena's two-year renovation, and one of the cheapest nights out in Vail: a single game costs $15 if you buy online.

Game night timing

Doors close at the end of the second period, and there is no entry after that, even with a ticket. There is no re-entry once you leave the building.

Tickets

Single-game tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door, when a game has not sold out. Every guest needs a ticket except children under 3. Seating is general admission, so arrive early if you want to sit together. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. A season ticket covering all 21 home games costs $250.

Good to know

Outside food and drink, noisemakers, selfie sticks, laser pointers and pets (other than service animals) are not allowed. Dobson sits on East Lionshead Circle, a short walk from the Lionshead Parking Structure and the free in-town bus. The arena reopens on November 28 with a concert featuring Trampled by Turtles and Old Crow Medicine Show.
