Fireside Bar

The Fireside Lounge is the quieter, slower corner of the Grand Hyatt Vail — the place you go when you want a drink by the fire rather than a table in the dining room. It sits at the hotel's Cascade Village end, away from the restaurant bustle of Gessner next door, and that separation is the whole point.

Cascade Village is west of the main village, and the Lounge carries that distance in its atmosphere. The Vail Village bars draw the après-ski crowds and the noise that comes with them; the Fireside does not. If that sounds like exactly what you need after a long day on the mountain, this is your bar. If you want the energy of the village, you should probably head east.

You do not need to be staying at the Grand Hyatt to come in. Hours shift with the season, so it is worth checking before you make the trip — the town bus serves Cascade Village if you would rather not drive.
