Vail Sports - Mid Vail

Most ski shops are where you start your day. This one is where you fix it. Sitting inside Mid Vail Lodge, up on the mountain rather than in either village, it exists specifically for the problems that surface halfway through a run: a binding that needs adjusting, a boot that has started to punish you, or gear that made sense at 8am and is clearly wrong for what the mountain is doing now.

You need a lift ticket to reach it, which is the point — it is there for skiers already on the hill, not for outfitting people from scratch at base. If you booked equipment lower down and something is not working, this is where you sort it without losing the afternoon to a long ride back to the village.

Rentals, swaps, and retail are all handled here. The hours track the ski day rather than a retail schedule, so if you need it, it will be there; if you do not, you would be off the mountain anyway.
