The Vail Kris Kringle Market is a European-style holiday market in Vail Village, running Thursday through Sunday, December 10-13, 2026. It is run by the team behind the Vail Farmers' Market and Art Show, and it is free to browse.

Last year the market took over Meadow Drive with garland, lights and festive music, with Colorado artisans selling handcrafted gifts, holiday decor, gourmet food and seasonal drinks. It lands in the second week of December, a good time for holiday shopping before the Christmas crowds arrive.

Dates and hours

The organizer has confirmed December 10, 11, 12 and 13 for 2026 but had not published daily hours when we checked. For reference, the 2025 market ran from noon to 5 pm. Check the organizer's site closer to the date.

Where it is

The 2025 market was set up on Meadow Drive in Vail Village, near the Vail Village Parking Structure and the free in-town bus. The organizer had not confirmed the 2026 layout when we checked.

Make a weekend of it

On Saturday, December 12, the Vail Skating Festival's tentative schedule has one of its free outdoor figure skating shows at the Arrabelle Ice Rink in Lionshead. On Sunday morning, December 13, the Vail Recreation District's Ugly Sweater Fun Run starts in Lionshead, and Santa is on the International Bridge that afternoon. Vendors who want to sell can still find the 2026 application on the organizer's site.
