Bad Kitty Lounge is a small whiskey and cocktail bar at 227 Bridge Street, near the Covered Bridge at the bottom of Vail Village. It opened on Halloween 2020, and its co-owners set out to make it look nothing like a ski-town bar: a green tufted-leather bar, wood paneling and a deliberately over-the-top mid-century decor.
It suits couples and small groups who want a proper cocktail and a conversation rather than a dance floor, and anyone heading to or from dinner in the village. The room is small, so large groups should expect to squeeze in or split up.
