Kringle Crossing is a miniature holiday village of lit, custom-built chalets that the town sets up in Vail Village and in Lionshead Village from November 14, 2026 to January 4, 2027. In Vail Village it sits on International Bridge over Gore Creek, a few steps from Checkpoint Charlie. It is free to wander through and is part of Vail Apres, the early-winter program run by Discover Vail and the Town of Vail.

Through the season the chalets host Santa visits, carolers and seasonal treats. It is mostly a place for families to walk through between ski days and dinner, and it looks best after dark, once the lights are on.

Santa poses for free photos, shared digitally or printed on site, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on these dates:

• Friday, November 27: at the Lionshead tree lighting
• Sundays, November 29, December 6, 13 and 20

Kringle Crossing overlaps with the rest of the town's early-winter program: the free Stoke Sessions concerts at Checkpoint Charlie on Friday afternoons through December 4, the silent disco in Lionshead on Wednesdays, and the free figure skating shows.
