Stoke Sessions is a free outdoor concert series at the entrance to Vail Village, held on the first Fridays of ski season: November 13, November 20 and December 4, 2026, from 4 to 7 pm, at Checkpoint Charlie on Gore Creek Drive. It is part of Vail Apres, the town's early-winter program run by Discover Vail and the Town of Vail.

The performers had not been announced when we checked. The November 28 date in the series is not free: that night the music moves to the Dobson Arena reopening concert, a ticketed show.

Restaurants around Checkpoint Charlie serve food and drinks during the sessions. The organizers name El Segundo, Root & Flower, Two Arrows and Yama Sushi among the participants.

Plan your Friday

The first session falls on Vail Mountain opening day, so it doubles as a first-day-of-season apres. The concerts are outdoors in November and December; dress for cold weather once the sun drops behind the mountain.
