Winter rentals

Ski packages run from beginner-friendly sport setups to premium and demo skis, and snowboard packages from first-timer boards to demo decks, with board-only options for riders who bring their own boots. Reserving at least 24 hours ahead saves 20%, and gear can be collected from 3 p.m. the day before. Walk-ins are welcome as stock allows. Through Try Before You Buy, up to two days of a demo rental can go toward buying the same model that season.

Tuning and boot fitting

The shop's technicians handle full and minor tunes, wax, edge and base work, and binding mounting and adjustment. No appointment is needed, most jobs aim for a 24-hour turnaround, and same-day service may be possible for an extra fee. Custom boot fitting is offered here too.

Summer

In summer the rack turns to path bikes, e-bikes, front-suspension trail bikes, kids' bikes and trailers, plus hiking rentals, with the same 20% saving for booking ahead.

Other Christy Sports shops

Christy Sports also runs a Lionshead store if you are staying at the other end of town. Its rental delivery service does not currently cover Vail, so plan on collecting gear from a shop.
