Designers and house pieces

The designer cases carry Serafino Consoli, Moritz Glik, Chimento, Bizzotto, Baraka, Bellarri, Cherie Dori, Sloane Street and Mondrian Co. Lamina's own designs take their cue from the setting, with snowflake and mountain-range pieces and stackable rings and bracelets that can be added to over several trips.

Gemstones

The precious stones are sapphires, rubies, emeralds and diamonds, and the colored-stone selection runs to tanzanite, tourmaline, aquamarine and morganite, alongside one-of-a-kind pieces.

Fossils, minerals and furniture

The family travels to mineral and fossil-producing regions to choose specimens themselves, and they are members of the American Association of Applied Paleontology. Pieces range from agate slices to Alaskan mammoth tusk, and the gallery also shows custom furniture made by local artisans with minerals and petrified wood.

Watches

Lamina keeps a watch selection in store and, through a network of collectors, will help source a particular model if it is not in the case.

Before you visit

Lamina does not publish its hours online, so call ahead, particularly in the spring and fall shoulder seasons. The shop also sells online.
