The après section leans on sharing: a Revel raclette with steak tips and prosciutto, a baked-brie skillet for two, and a Chästeilet board of Colorado cheeses that echoes the hotel's Friday cheese ritual. Midday brings salads, bison chili and sandwiches such as a steak grilled cheese and an alpine French dip, and dinner runs to a Fitch Ranch prime ribeye, salmon and a bone-in pork chop. The menu changes between winter and summer.

Cocktails and beer

The cocktail list is built largely on Colorado spirits, from a Woody Creek rye Old Fashioned to drinks made with 10th Mountain whiskey and brandy, plus spritzes and low-proof options. Beer comes from Colorado breweries such as Left Hand, Avery and Steamworks, and wine is offered by the glass and bottle.

When to go

The bar is busiest at après, when the lifts close. Later, it works as a relaxed dinner or a nightcap: the room stays open until 11 p.m., after the kitchen closes. Exact hours are in the FAQ.

Inside The Hythe

Revel is one of four dining spots at The Hythe, 715 West Lionshead Circle. The others are Margie's Haas, the breakfast restaurant; 10th Mountain, the lobby bar pouring Colorado whiskey in the late afternoon; and Mountain Ration, the grab-and-go market for coffee and snacks. The hotel's Well & Being Spa and outdoor pool are in the same building.
