Open gym

Open gym gives access to the trampoline, tumbling mats, foam pit and other equipment, with separate sessions for toddlers with an adult, kids 5 and up, and adults and teens 13 and over. Sessions follow the school-year calendar and pause during Eagle County school closures, so register online in advance and check the schedule in the FAQ.

Classes and the competitive team

Recreational classes start with Toddler Bear gymnastics, and a ski and snowboard class uses tumbling and conditioning to build strength for the mountain. The competitive side runs a Junior Olympic USA Gymnastics program with USAG-certified coaches. The district asks drop-in visitors to call ahead.

Camps and school-break days

In summer the center runs week-long recreational camps with themed weeks and competitive camps for gymnasts training new skills; visiting non-members can join the competitive camps if they are actively competing at qualifying USAG levels. During the school year there are single-day camps on school breaks and Parents' Night Out evenings with open gym, games and pizza.

Parties

The center also hosts birthday parties, booked through a request form on the Vail Recreation District website.

Run by the Vail Recreation District

The Vail Recreation District operates the gym along with the town's other public recreation programs, and handles registration for classes, open gym and camps.
