Location

The Gondola Haus, formerly the Vista Bahn Building, sits at the top of Bridge Street beside Gondola One. Club One calls itself ski-in/ski-out, and members can ski back almost to the door. It shares the building with Almresi and Base Camp, Venture Sports' rental shop.

Lockers and memberships

Each locker holds 8 cubic feet of gear, which the club says is the largest in Vail, and is meant for up to two adults and two children. Memberships come in four tiers, Green, Blue, Black and Double Black, with more privacy and space as you move up. Members who renew by May 15 can leave their gear in the locker over the summer. What members get

Attendants valet skis to the snow. The room has coffee, cocoa, tea and light snacks, showers and changing rooms, boot, glove and helmet dryers, Wi-Fi, charging stations and TVs. Each membership includes four free tunes a season at Base Camp, and further tunes and rentals there are 20% off.

House rules worth knowing

Children under 16 must be with an adult. Each member may sign in up to two day guests, who cannot store gear overnight. Waxing and irons are not allowed in the room, and memberships are non-refundable.

Run by The Sebastian

The club is operated by The Sebastian - Vail, the hotel on Vail Road, and inquiries go to a Sebastian email address. Hotel guests who are not members use a separate service: the hotel valets their gear to Base Camp.
