The food and the bar

Vail Mountain calls the cooking contemporary and mountain-influenced: updated classics rather than cafeteria fare, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Separate food, cocktail, and wine and beer menus are posted on vail.com. The bar area has its own offer, the Two Martini Lunch, which pairs an oversized Caesar salad and truffle fries with martinis for two.

Getting there

You don't need to be a skier, but you do need lift access. Guests with an Epic Pass ride up on their pass. Everyone else can buy a Lift & Lunch package at the Vail Village ticket office, which includes a credit toward the meal. Skiers can ski in and ski out; everyone else rides Gondola One up and back down.

Booking and seasons

The 10th is mainly a winter restaurant, serving lunch and après daily through the ski season. Book ahead: walk-ins are seated only when there is room. In summer it has opened on select Sundays for a brunch with a DJ, with gondola access included for guests who book. Hours are in the FAQ below.
