Dinner

Dinner starts with Per la Tavola, small plates for the table: focaccia, olives, Marcona almonds, prosciutto di Parma, coppa and cheeses with honey or balsamico. Antipasti include carpaccio, burrata and oysters, and the handmade pastas, such as rigatoni with lamb ragù and lobster linguine, can all be made gluten-free. Wine, cocktail and dolci e digestivi lists round it out.

The Spritz Window

A nod to the wine windows of Tuscany, the Spritz Window serves seasonal spritz cocktails through a hatch: you buzz, order, and the drink comes through the window. It is an easy stop before dinner or on a walk through the village.

Breakfast and Sunday brunch

Breakfast runs every morning, and Sunday brunch has its own menu. Children under five eat free here, according to the hotel, which makes breakfast an easy family choice. Hours are in the FAQ.

Private dining

Il Duomo, the private room named for its vaulted ceiling, has a fireplace and seats up to 30, a good size for rehearsal dinners. The whole 3,500-square-foot restaurant, with its large bar, can be bought out for up to 125 seated guests.

Inside Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail

Tavernetta is one of the dining spots at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail, One Vail Road. The resort's bar and restaurant, The Remedy, is the place for après and late drinks with a firepit patio; Speyside Café serves coffee, tea and sweets, and a pool bar and 24-hour in-room dining complete the resort's options.
