The Vail Lacrosse Tournament brings youth and high school club teams from across the country to Vail from Tuesday, June 15 to Thursday, June 17, 2027. Founded in 1995 and now run by Adrenaline Lacrosse, it draws roughly 100 teams in boys' and girls' divisions, with round-robin play leading into divisional playoffs.

Divisions

• Boys: varsity, junior varsity, and grade divisions for the classes of 2031 to 2035 (grades 4 to 8)
• Girls: grade divisions for the classes of 2031 to 2035, with the youngest playing 8v8

Team entry runs $2,288 to $2,600 depending on division. Every player registers individually and needs an active USA Lacrosse membership.

Where the games are

Games are spread across several Vail Valley fields. In Vail the main site is Ford Fields at Ford Park, 700 South Frontage Road East, with other games at the Vail Athletic Field on Vail Valley Drive; the tournament also uses fields in Eagle-Vail, Avon and Edwards. Field assignments for 2027 had not been posted when we checked.

Parking and getting around

For Ford Fields, the organizer suggests parking at the Vail Village parking structure and walking about five minutes, or riding the free in-town bus. Parking at the field lots is limited and the town may charge a fee there; do not park on the Frontage Road or in the bus lanes, where cars are ticketed and towed.

For spectators, games are a good excuse to explore Vail in early summer: Ford Park has a playground and Gore Creek trail access right beside the fields.
