Early mornings and late evenings

The drive-thru opens before the lobby does, and both stay open into the late evening, long after most village kitchens have closed. That makes it a practical stop for breakfast and coffee before the lifts start turning, or for a meal after a late arrival. Exact times are in the FAQ below.

Getting there

This is West Vail, not the pedestrian villages, so you will not walk here from Vail Village or Lionshead. It is a short drive along the frontage road, and the free Town of Vail bus runs year-round routes out to West Vail if you have left the car parked for the week.

Ordering ahead

The restaurant takes Mobile Order & Pay through the McDonald's app for pickup at the store, which helps on busy winter mornings when the line fills with ski traffic. McDonald's also offers McDelivery through third-party delivery apps where your address is covered, at higher prices than in the restaurant.

Before you go

The menu is the standard national one, with McCafé coffee, breakfast and burgers. Hours can change by season, so check the restaurant's own page or call before planning an early start around it.
