What is on the shelves

The store carries Patagonia's technical and lifestyle clothing for men, women, kids and toddlers: outerwear and ski layers, base layers, fleece, pants and shorts, footwear, day packs and duffels, plus travel and camping accessories. The brand's range covers skiing, snowboarding, climbing, trail running, fly fishing and paddling, so it works as well in July as in January.

Staff who use the gear

The team is made up of skiers, snowboarders, mountain bikers and hikers, which helps when you are choosing a shell for a spring tour or a layer for a summer hike.

Two Patagonia stores in Vail

The other store is Patagonia Vail Village on Bridge Street, opened in 2012. The two carry similar ranges, so pick whichever is closer to your lodging.

Before you visit

The store is open to everyone, not just Arrabelle guests. Hours change between ski season and summer, so check the FAQ and call ahead in the shoulder seasons.

Inside The Arrabelle

The store is one of several shops in The Arrabelle at Vail Square, the Lionshead hotel and residences. Also in the building: Burton Arrabelle for snowboards and Vail Sports for rentals.
