The condos

Condominiums range from one to four bedrooms, and the larger ones sleep up to ten. Units come stocked with toiletries, coffee supplies and linens, and with humidifiers and fans; the latter matter because Riva Ridge South residences have no air conditioning. Some units, such as 705, add a gas fireplace and an in-unit washer and dryer.

Skiing and summer

Gondola One is about 150 yards away, so it is a short walk rather than ski-in/ski-out. Guests get complimentary in-town storage for their own skis and discounted rentals through American Ski Exchange, and in summer the same short walk leads to hiking and biking.

Shared amenities and services

Guests use the free-form, 22-person hot tub at The Willows, open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The concierge helps with dining reservations, airport transfers, car rental, grocery delivery and spa bookings, and a daily resort fee covers one parking space, Wi-Fi, ski and bike storage, in-room coffee and tea, lobby snacks and daily housekeeping.

Parking and policies

Parking is in the underground garage below the building, with one assigned space per reservation and a permit to display. Pets are not allowed. The resort fee is quoted differently on two of the management company's pages, so confirm it when you book; the FAQ below has both figures.
