What to order

Breakfast and lunch run from avocado toast to the signature Gravity Bowl. The smoothie list is where the café puts its emphasis, with a turmeric ginger smoothie at the top, and the specialty drinks include matcha lattes, chai and a golden milk latte alongside the espresso bar.

A mountain-town coffee bar

Unravel is a small chain that grew up in mountain towns, with cafés in Big Sky, Breckenridge, Jackson Hole, Missoula, Moab, Steamboat Springs, Westport and Winter Park as well as Vail. Each sits with a Gravity Haus property, which is why the Vail café shares its room with the hotel's restaurant.

From coffee to dinner

Unravel closes at 3 p.m. and the same room reopens as Slope Room for dinner and après at 5, so the space covers the whole day with a gap in the late afternoon. For takeaway, order ahead online.

Groups and events

The café takes group gatherings and private events; contact Unravel or the Gravity Haus groups team to reserve.

Inside Gravity Haus Vail

Gravity Haus Vail is the hotel that houses Unravel, with rooms and condos, a gym, coworking and a recovery spa.

Slope Room is the alpine bistro and bar in the same room: ranch-sourced New American and steakhouse dishes and cocktails, open for dinner and après each evening. Reservations are recommended.
