Vail Trails East is a small condominium building at 433 Gore Creek Drive, on the mountain side of Gore Creek in the Golden Peak corner of Vail Village. The Golden Peak lifts are about a block away, and the shops and restaurants of the village center are a short walk in the other direction.

There is no front desk or building website. Owners rent their own condos through local managers, among them Vail Management Company and Vail Realty, so the unit you pick and the company you book with decide the details. It suits self-sufficient couples and small families who want a kitchen and a quiet street near the lifts more than hotel services.

Location and lifts

From the building it is roughly a block to the Riva Bahn and the other Golden Peak lifts, and Gondola One is a short stroll through the village. That is walk-to-lift convenience, not ski-in/ski-out. Units on the back of the building look over Gore Creek.

The condos

Layouts vary from unit to unit. Vail Management rents a garden-level one-bedroom with two queen beds and a sofa sleeper for four, and a second-floor two-bedroom with a loft of twin beds reached by a built-in ladder, plus a gas fireplace and balcony. Vail Realty lists a 932-square-foot two-bedroom remodeled in 2022 with its own washer and dryer. Expect full kitchens and Wi-Fi; expect no air conditioning unless a listing says otherwise.
