The condos

All 87 units are individually owned and decorated, from studio suites about twice the size of a standard hotel room up to four bedrooms. Every one has a full kitchen, a gas fireplace, a private balcony with a gas grill and its own exterior entry. One-bedrooms with bunk beds give families with small children extra beds without paying for a second bedroom. There is no central air conditioning.

Pool, winter days and getting around

The outdoor pool and two hot tubs sit on a deck over the creek and are open every day of the year; there are also two saunas and a fitness room. In winter a free on-snow ski valet at the base of the Lionshead Gondola holds skis overnight, snowshoes and sleds are free to borrow, and a hotel shuttle loops to Vail Village and West Vail in the afternoons and evenings. The Antlers is a short walk to the lift, not ski-in/ski-out.

Meals

There is no restaurant on site. Guests cook in their condos, walk a few steps to Lionshead's breakfast places, or order Dinner Delivered, chef-prepared meals from the hotel's kitchen brought to the door with 48 hours' notice. The Antlers Pantry lends extras such as espresso makers and bottle warmers.

Before you book

Parking is in a heated garage under the hotel with a 7-foot-2-inch clearance and one space per condo; the hotel lists a daily charge that it waives for direct bookings. Pet-friendly units are limited and must be reserved by phone. No units meet ADA standards, and guests must be 21 to check in. Fees and times are in the FAQ below.

Weddings, reunions and meetings

Meeting rooms hold up to about 100 people, with catering from the hotel's chef. Couples use the Antlers for room blocks, rehearsal dinners and farewell brunches by the creekside pool.
