The pizza

Pies come in 10, 14 and 18 inches, or as calzones. The Gnar Supreme loads on pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon and vegetables; lighter options include a Margherita-style pie called Ain't No Daisy and a pesto pizza with spinach and artichokes. You can build your own, a 14-inch gluten-free crust is available, and slices are sold every day. A lunch special runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beyond pizza

The menu also covers wings, garlic bread, salads, and subs or wraps such as a French dip and a hot Italian. The bar pours local and craft beer on tap, with Colorado IPAs on the recent list, plus cocktails.

Darts, games and late nights

Local Joe's runs a dart league twice a week, doubles on Tuesdays and singles on Thursdays, and shows football, baseball, basketball and other games on its TVs. The dining room is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.

Delivery and ordering

Delivery runs daily from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and you can order online through the restaurant's website or by phone. After 11 p.m., it is dine-in or takeout. The FAQ has the hours and prices.

In the Vail Run Resort building

Local Joe's is an independent business in Suite 2A at 1000 Lions Ridge Loop, the same building as the Vail Run Resort condominiums, so it is the easiest dinner for guests staying there. It is open to everyone.
