The villas

Studios suit a couple; the one- and two-bedroom villas add separate living areas for families. Every villa has a full kitchen, a gas fireplace, a flat-screen TV, a furnished balcony and free Wi-Fi. None has air conditioning, which matters mostly on warm summer nights. Housekeeping comes every other day.

Getting to the mountain

The resort is on the frontage road west of both villages, so it is not a walk-to-lift property. Town of Vail buses serve the resort for free, and Charter Sports, which runs the ski shop in the clubhouse, says hotel guests have a complimentary shuttle to Lionshead, Vail Village and Golden Peak; confirm the schedule at the front desk.

Pools and things to do

The resort has indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool, a fitness center, a racquetball and basketball court, a game room and a children's playground. On-site laundry makes a week-long stay easier.

Before you book

Self-parking is on site at a modest daily charge, with no space for campers or RVs and no EV charging. Pets are not allowed and the resort is smoke-free. Exact times and charges are in the FAQ below.

Ski shop at the resort

The Charter Sports shop at Marriott's StreamSide is on the second floor of the StreamSide clubhouse, reached by the lobby elevator. It rents skis, snowboards and helmets in winter, with the gear pre-fitted if you book online a day ahead, and it suits families who would rather collect equipment on site than in the villages.
