Rooms and suites

Standard rooms have a king or two queens, some with balconies, plus a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The draw for groups is the five bi-level residential loft suites, 734 to 1,020 square feet, which sleep four to ten and have a living room with a fireplace and a full kitchen. Only the suites have kitchens. Mobility- and hearing-accessible rooms are available.

Getting to the mountain

The Lift, the hotel's complimentary shuttle, runs on demand, first come first served, to the mountain's three main access points in Lionshead, Vail Village and Golden Peak; the front desk has current hours. In summer, the Davos Trail starts near the door.

On site

The backyard has a heated outdoor pool, an oversized hot tub and outdoor fireplaces, and there is a fitness center and a winter game room. A grab-and-go breakfast is available, and a lobby lounge, a Mexican restaurant, an independent café and a 24-hour market mean you rarely need to drive for a meal.

Before you book

A $45 nightly resort fee covers self-parking, Wi-Fi, the shuttle, ski and bike storage and rental and spa discounts. Up to two dogs per room are allowed for a one-time fee each. Winter stays become non-refundable 30 days before arrival; summer stays 48 hours before. The FAQ below has the details.

Weddings and meetings

Highline hosts rehearsal dinners, intimate receptions, brunches and meetings for 10 to 80 guests. The 1,936-square-foot Terrace Ballroom opens onto the pool deck and a 1,736-square-foot terrace patio with fireplaces, and the shuttle can carry guests to ceremonies around Vail. Wedding room blocks come with lodging discounts.

Connected establishments

Pivot62 is the lobby lounge and restaurant, with brick-fired pizzas, shareable Colorado-sourced plates, wine and signature cocktails by the fireplace. It suits a casual dinner in or an après drink; ask the front desk for current hours.

Del Toro Mexican Cuisine serves Mazatlán-inspired seafood and traditional Mexican dishes with creative cocktails. Reserve online or by phone.

Westside Café, independently operated and steps from the lobby, serves scratch-made American breakfast, lunch and dinner to guests and locals; call for current hours.

Made Market is the hotel's 24-hour grab-and-go market for coffee, snacks, meals and late-night beer. It has no separate listing.

Mountain Revival is a massage studio in the hotel lobby, down the hallway past the elevators, with massage, stretching, an infrared sauna and a cold plunge. Hotel guests get 10% off; book online or walk in when a therapist is free.

Charter Sports runs the on-site rental shop, with skis and snowboards in winter and e-bikes, mountain and road bikes in summer, at a discount for hotel guests.
