The menu

Nine brick-fired pizzas range from a classic pepperoni and a Margherita to prosciutto with blue cheese and fig vinaigrette, BBQ chicken and buffalo chicken. Starters include wings, hand-breaded chicken tenders, truffle fries and Brussels sprouts with bacon and balsamic, and there are sandwiches such as the half-pound Snowboarder Burger, a Philly cheesesteak and grilled cheese with tomato soup. Dessert includes a sundae made with warm DoubleTree cookies.

The bar

Wines are poured in six- and nine-ounce glasses or by the bottle, from California chardonnays to Veuve Clicquot, and the cocktail list includes a Pivot 62 Old Fashioned, a Game Creek Manhattan, a carajillo and mezcal drinks, with draft beer alongside.

Hours and access

The hotel does not publish set hours for Pivot62 and asks diners to call the front desk for the latest times, so check before you go, especially in the shoulder seasons. The FAQ has the number.

At Highline Vail

Highline Vail – a DoubleTree by Hilton is the West Vail hotel at 2211 North Frontage Road West that houses Pivot62. It has residential loft suites and runs a complimentary on-demand shuttle for its guests.

Del Toro Mexican Cuisine serves Mazatlán-inspired seafood and traditional Mexican dishes at the hotel, open from 10:30 a.m. daily. Reserve online or by phone.

Westside Café, which adjoins the hotel, serves scratch-made American breakfast, lunch and dinner to hotel guests and locals.

Made Market is the hotel's 24-hour market for grab-and-go groceries. It has no VailVacay listing.
