The dining room

The main dining room serves lunch and dinner every day, with Austrian specialties at the heart of a broader Continental and American menu that also runs to steaks, lamb chops, trout and salmon. Most entrées come with the vegetable of the day, and gluten-free dishes are marked on the menu.

Pepi's Bar

The bar pours Austrian beers and house cocktails and serves its own menu from mid-afternoon. Its wall of fame shows notable past patrons along with some of Pepi's medals and trophies from his racing years, and the bar says it is home to the visiting Austrian ski team when World Cup races come to town. Local musicians play for après and in the evenings.

The covered patio

Pepi's deck sits a short walk from the slopes and Gondola One, and the restaurant bills it as the sunniest deck in Vail Village. A heated, covered section now stays open year-round for lunch and dinner, so it works on a cold January afternoon as well as a summer evening.

Part of Hotel Gasthof Gramshammer

Pepi's is inside Hotel Gasthof Gramshammer at 231 East Gore Creek Drive, the family's small Vail Village hotel. Hotel guests eat their included continental breakfast in the same main dining room, and the hotel's reservations line handles rooms.

The Antlers Room is the hotel's winter-only dining room, known for wild game and for tableside service, including steak tartare and Caesar salad prepared for two or more. It suits a celebration dinner and is booked through the same restaurant line as Pepi's.

Pepi Sports, the ski shop the Gramshammers opened in 1968, sits next to the hotel lobby, with ski, snowboard and touring rentals and sportswear. Hotel guests get a discount there.
