Rooms and condos

Lodge rooms have a king, two queens or two doubles and sleep two to four, and some have air conditioning and a seating area. The one-, two- and three-bedroom condos add a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a full kitchen and a furnished terrace, with soaking tubs and gas grills in some. Because each unit is decorated differently, it is worth looking at the individual listings on the lodge's site before you book.

Breakfast and après

Breakfast is included every day. In winter it is a full American spread with rotating hot dishes such as waffles, breakfast burritos and scrambled eggs; in summer it is continental on weekdays with hot items at weekends. Pastries come from Michel's Bakery and bagels from Village Bagel, and cookies and drinks appear in the afternoon during ski season.

Getting to the mountain

Gondola One and the winter ski valet are about a two-minute walk away. That is close, but not ski-in/ski-out. The concierge arranges discounted rentals, ski and luggage shipping, restaurant and spa reservations and babysitters, and a complimentary in-town shuttle runs to Lionshead.

Pool, parking and practicalities

A heated pool and hot tub are open year-round, and there is a fitness center. Parking is covered and on site, with a daily charge in winter; in summer one car per reservation parks free. Pets are not permitted and the building is non-smoking and has elevators. Rates and terms are in the FAQ below.
