The condos

Units are graded from economy to platinum and diamond, and the difference is real: a renovated two-bedroom diamond unit runs about 1,000 square feet with modern finishes, while three-bedroom platinum condos run about 1,450 square feet with gas fireplaces, washers and dryers and a gas grill on the balcony. Many have mountain views. Read the specific unit before booking.

Skiing and summer

The Landmark describes its access as slopeside, steps from the gondola and Lift 8; that is a walk, not ski-in/ski-out. Each condo comes with a private ski locker, and ski school, rentals and the ice rink are close by. In summer the same location puts you near the gondola, bike rentals in the building and the free town bus into Vail Village.

On site

The heated outdoor pool and hot tubs face the mountain and open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with fire pits and a fitness center with a Peloton. Ski and boot storage, on-site laundry and wireless internet are included.

Before you book

One garage space per reservation is included; extra cars go to town parking structures for a fee. No pets or smoking, and someone aged 25 or older must be in the party. A 6.5% resort fee, a flat damage-protection fee and a cleaning fee are added, and check-out is at 10 a.m. The FAQ below has the figures.

Groups and weddings

The Landmark hosts meetings, reunions and wedding groups, pairing indoor and outdoor event space with condos that can serve as breakout rooms or hospitality suites. Group rates depend on availability, and the property offers a full buyout; call the group team to plan.

Connected establishments

Ski Base is the ski and snowboard rental shop in the same building, with overnight tuning. Landmark guests get 30% off rentals; pick up a flyer at the front desk or mention your stay.

Wheel Base handles on-site bike rentals and Vail Pass bike tours in summer.

CoralTree Residence Collection manages the rentals, and guests at its other Lionshead buildings, including Vail 21, check in at The Landmark's front desk.
