Massage in Vail is sold two ways. Hotel spas bundle a treatment with time in the pool, steam room or sauna, and their hours change with the season. Independent studios book directly, keep steady hours and post per-session rates. The difference decides where to book: a hotel spa suits a half-day out, a studio suits an hour between other plans. Spa Anjali is in Avon, down valley from Vail.
Independent studios in Vail
Sunshine Massage Studio is at 616 W Lionshead Circle, Suite 300 D, open 10 am to 7 pm every day. Its menu covers a signature massage, Thai massage with sports stretching on a floor mat, prenatal massage, couples sessions, four-handed massage and mobile massage that comes to a home or hotel. Deep Roots Therapeutic Massage works by appointment only, at 500 South Frontage Road East, Suite 112, inside The Wren. The studio offers cupping, Thai massage and craniosacral work in 60, 75, 90 and 120 minute sessions, with packages discounted by up to 25 percent. Parking at The Wren is limited to two marked guest spaces on the top level of the garage, first come, first served. The Vail Village Parking Structure is a five to seven minute walk along the Frontage Road and is free after 3 pm, and a skier shuttle runs during ski hours. Call (970) 471-6898 with questions.
Hotel and resort spas in and around the villages
Sonnenalp, Spa by GLO and Spa Anjali (in the next section) sell treatments to guests staying elsewhere. For the other hotel spas, ask about non-guest booking when you call.

Spa Anjali in Avon
Spa Anjali is inside the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at 126 Riverfront Lane in Avon. The 27,000-square-foot spa has 14 treatment rooms and a long massage menu: Swedish and deep-tissue blends, sports and prenatal massage, hot river stones, Thai yoga massage, a Travel Recovery massage that uses a percussive therapy tool, and Ashiatsu, in which the therapist works with their feet. Hours are Monday to Thursday 10 am to 6 pm and Friday to Sunday 9 am to 7 pm. The 2026 massage rates:

Enhancements such as hot stones or a muscle balm cost $20 each and are added to a massage. Spa facilities, including an outdoor saline lap pool and three infinity hot tubs, are free with a treatment. Hotel guests without a treatment pay $25 a day, and outside guests pay $90 for spa and fitness facilities. Arriving 30 minutes early leaves time to use them before the appointment. Choosing a style from the menus
- Relaxation: Swedish-style or blended sessions, such as the Anjali Signature Massage.
- Sore legs and shoulders: deep tissue, slow, focused pressure into deeper muscle layers, or sports massage, which at Spa Anjali opens with stretches.
- Flexibility: Thai massage is done clothed on a mat with assisted stretching. Spa Anjali and Sunshine Massage Studio both offer it.
- A treatment with heat: guests with high blood pressure, epilepsy, a heart condition, recent surgery or pregnancy should check with a physician first, and should mention allergies or ailments when booking.
- A day, not just an hour: Sonnenalp, The Hythe, Grand Hyatt and Spa Anjali all tie pool and steam access to a treatment or a day pass, so compare what is included, not just the table time.
